People always tell the aspiring artists to not be afraid to just go out there and show your stuff to everybody because nobody's ever gonna actually be as rude as you're afraid they'll be. But deep down, I know I really AM that rude. I HATE when people try to talk up their pet projects to me, and most of the time I'll totally be That guy who just shoves past without even making eye contact to avoid having to tell them so. SO why would I want to inflict something upon others that bugs the crap out of me?
But anyway, yeah, I can't ever afford to print as many free books as I'd like (since, you know, they're FREE and all) so it probably is best to have people who don't care put them back rather than pretending they'll actually read it later.
