See, it's not REALLY me making the same joke three times if I smear a thick layer of self-deprecation over one of them!

And yeah, I know that the ultimate issue here isn't really the depiction of the act of smoking PERIOD, but the perceived endorsement of it. Jotaro may be underage, sure, but he's also the hero and a concentrated pile of "cool dude" in the rough shape of a person, and showing him smoking presumably makes it look cool. A stupid gag involving a bad guy who just ends up getting humiliated, though? Well, that just makes smoking look foolish, so it's okay. I totally get the thought process here... AND IT'S STILL STUPID.

Speaking of which, I looked up some old Joe Camel art as a reference for that last panel, and DEAR GOD THAT THING WAS CREEPY. I still don't get how anyone could think that... CREATURE was convincing kids that cigarettes were cool. It scared the crap out of me when I was a kid, and it still weirds me out now.
