You are so right about the creepy friend, he's beyond redeemable.... He's so creepy... Giles trying to ask Jenny on a date, love it when she turned tables on him and he was like 'oh well, that went well'. Love these two!! They're really cute together too. Xander thinking of rolling Cordelia out was really clever of him. Him rudely interrupting Cordelia thanking him for saving her life, quite rude... and then he wonders why he never gets a girl... I mean, fair, Cordelia has always been mean to them, but she was genuinely thanking him in that scene and you could see there was no trace of her being mocking, so it must have hurt her a little for Xander to be so cold to her... This episode reminded me a lot of a Supernatural one and I wonder if SPN took some inspiration from this episode for their story. Buffy did inspire a lot of shows that followed after all. Buffy's intro is just top tier. I wonder what you'd think of the Angel one, really love the music too and it stays in your head after hearing it a few times too. Really enjoyed this reaction, this episode isn't one of my faves but rewatching it with you was really enjoyable nonetheless :)
