Oh that's why Wen’s dad looked familiar !! I couldn't remember where I saw him in lol. Too many series that I’ve watched. So we have 3 actors from Not Me then, that’s cool 😊

For example, you say "my book" in English but in Thai it would be "book my", therefore you would need to at least alter ther order of the words in sign language. And that's just a tiny example. I don't know if you recognised the actor who plays Wen's dad. He played Black and White's dad in Not Me. His character in this series is waaay nicer! LOL! Thank you so much, Liam!!

Giving us amazing characters and balancing out each and every story, it knows who to focus on and who to sort of leave on the sides but still gives them enough attention and care, that’s what makes this series so damn good, I think this is a bl that’s really good to watch after you’ve already seen a few doing this helps to just fully grasp how unique it feels and how amazing it is! I love the ending scene it gave me chills the first time I watched it with firsts expression and the music! Also each scene has such attention to detail in its coloring showing warmth when the characters are happy and feeling comfortable contrasting to the more blues when the characters are feeling sad. I love this series so much.

About Liam reading the comment or not in the next reaction, I don’t mind, because I know he reads them later, just like YouTube comments ;) been following him since his Merlin reactions 3 years ago 😁 (damn, that feels like ages ago lol) and I used to write near essays for Merlin reactions 😅😅

I hope he reads the comments for ep 3 after ep 5 too... sometimes he doesn't when he double posts like this. but yeah, I especially like what you said regarding Heart! the note that slid under the door didn't say 'goodnight' though, it said 'your food for tomorrow is in the fridge, dear' so apparently they don't have meals together either... I also find it sad that Heart didn't even know it was Loy Khratong day, because as you said, it's supposed to be celebrated with loved ones. it also reinforces the fact that he just doesn't leave the house, and doesn't really have anyone else to speak with other than his parents and Li Ming.

I highly recommend rewatching it on your own time after you're done. Your reaction is actually the first time I'm rewatching the series after it finished airing (all other reactor posted the episodes right after they aired). And I'm loving your reactions a lot so far. This episode gave us more about Jim and his backstory. Like you, I wondered what happened to the boyfriend since he's no longer here with Jim in the present... By the way, did you recognise the actor ? It's the same one who played Gumpa in Not Me 😉 I only recognised him because he was in a few other series I watched before Moonlight Chicken, so don't feel bad if you didn't recognise him. The flashback was wholesome with how cute they were as a couple but the last scene broke my heart for Jim... And did you notice Jim's ring? P'Aof (the director) said that Heart and Li Ming would heal our hearts while watching their scenes and he was so right. They're so beyond precious. The way Li Ming is already learning sign language to talk with Heart more (rather than write) and the way it makes Heart so happy that Li Ming is doing that for him. In contrast, we see the parents only leave notes around the house for Heart, leave him alone on special occasions like Loi Khratong, which is supposed to be spent with loved ones... It's so sad... And that last scene when they're in Hear's room and you see the note being shoved under the door (probably saying good night) rather than the parents going to see their son to wish him a good night... And we also see a keayboard in Heart's room, probably hinting he used to play before going deaf... It's all these little details that add so much. Jim and Li Ming's relationship is one of my favourite in the series (apart from the romances) and I love that despite clashing and arguing, Li Ming is still aware that Jim cares about him and wants what's best for him. And Jim is making some efforts talking about his nephew with Wen near the end of the episode. Jim is just worried, and he mentioned his sister earlier but she's not the one taking care of her son, he is. It's a huge responsibility to be a guardian. And with all his other worries about the restaurant... They just both need to listen to each other and understand the other's perspective. Gaipa trying to ask Jim out was so cute. I feel bad for Gaipa... and so does Leng who observed the whole scene from the balcony. Gaipa and his mom are another relationship I really love in this series. Can't wait for you to watch episode 4 which had one of my favorite scene with them. One thing that made me laugh a lot during your reaction was how worried you were that the boys were about to break another bottle. "Guys, let go of the bottle before you kiss" XD Not only was this so funny, but you thinking they were about to kiss was literally all of us XD Also, that scene, the way they're standing and how it's filmed, it looks so similar to Tinn and Gun in episode 1 of MSP when Tinn holds the poster up and Gun tries to reach for it. There are quite a few scenes that actually look similar or have similarities that someone made an edit of both series. Fourth and Gemini also definitely have mimics they repeat in both series, one of the most obvious ones has to be Gun scratching under Gemini's chin. He also does that in interviews lol. And yes, First is finally here. One thing that I can say, without spoiling, is that is acting in this series really impressed me. Same with Mixx. I'm glad you're posting episode 4 tomorrow because I don't think I could have handled watching both episodes in one go, too emotional, especially episode 4. I hope you'll recognise another familiar face from MSP in episode 4. By the way, it's fitting that you're watching MSP and MC at the same time since both series aired at the same time and ended a week apart (emotional damage...), it was a very emotional time, lots of series ended nearly at the same time...
