You are not going to believe this - Ad situation UPDATE

So I was about to go to bed when YouTube analytics busts this one out.

Mere HOURS after I finally gave in and uploaded the video without ads, they announced that they will be rolling out this function in the coming weeks.

Basically, if you get the yellow icon, you have to still get it reviewed, but now the review comes back with timestamps that show you where the issue is. The exact thing people have been missing. While it would've been nice to have this feature applied BEFORE the review by a human is needed, I understand why they don't want that (the whole "gaming the system" thing").

That being said, I am skeptical. While they will tell you more specifics now, if they detect more than like, 3 violations per video, they can still say "hey, this video is all not ad-friendly in general", at least that is how I understood it. They claim this is rare, but we know YouTube. So I am remaining optimistic but not hopeful.

The timing is really funny though. Sorry for spamming the Patreon in such a short amount of time lol, but I knew you'd wanna hear this. The good news for this is that it might mean I will be more willing to make part 2 of the Adult Mods vid, but I shall first wait to see if the system even works.
