Call me crazy but I don’t think episode 1 - 200 James & Fuad would have that perspective on the AITA… also unrelated but as I binge through these episodes daily I THINK I can see them money & success slowly change the guys which is understandable with them becoming international celebrities, but unfortunate to see as a fan IF it’s true

He didn't say, they couldn't waste her money but he wanted his hard earned money to be respected and I felt him on that. She's the one having financial issues, and if this is how she shows children to respect money, it may be a reason as to why she's having it. I'm a single mom of one but I still understand the struggle, however, when someone offers to pay for my son (whether my funds are up or not), I'm still mindful of how much he's spending and making sure he doesn't waste it. Hell even when spending my own on him I'm like "Waiter, may we have a to go box". She's being selfish and feeling entitled to what's not hers.

I get it, you can afford to pay for tings and it's not mad if they go to waste. However, she took advantage of the fact he has a better financial situation than her. I think it wouldn’t have turned into this huge ordeal if they ordered the meals but took home the left overs or maybe the kids shared one huge drink between the two of them. You should NEVER allow your kids to be wasteful with other peoples money. He dodged a bullet and doesn’t owe her anything.

I don’t agree with how he necessarily handled the situation, but she’s fully taking advantage of the fact that he’s willing to pay for things. I feel like she’s teaching her kids it’s okay to take advantage of people. Regardless if you can afford the things or not, you should teach your kids to be grateful. It’s his money, he’s allowed to feel some kind of way.

Especially if he wasn't raised that way and has 2 children of his own. That type of thing can very quickly cause big issues in a blended family. It may seem small when applied to beverages but it will absolutely bleed into other areas. I also think that it is basic common courtesy to not waste food, especially when you're out. And especially when it's technically being gifted to you. I imagine these kids were also not saying thank you or giving out hugs for any of the wasted items. It would definitely wave a red flag for me. The guy has no right to try to change her parenting style or be rude to the children (don't think he did) BUT he absolutely has a right to voice his concern/s and then protect his own children from examples of things he does not wish for them to partake in. They can agree to disagree and go their separate ways, respectfully.

Her being a struggling person and not teaching your kids to respect, be happy with everything you get, and not to waste is weird to me. It should be a given. I do agree though that this is something that needed to come up before since you were planning on moving in together and presumably he is gonna be a part of those kids life. He is gonna want to instill some of his morals and beliefs into the kids and a possible parental figure.

Thankfully, one of my friends (who was 11 years old - saved me and raised the alarm. God bless her!). So I have a huge respect (in other words REAL FEAR) of the ocean, sea, any body of water etc. So even if I were a millionairess- you can still keep that underwater Hotel. PLUS, I just watched a terrifying Film called "Under Paris" on Netflix (UK), yesterday about the River Seine housing an unusual Killer Shark! So - Noooo thank you.
