I also want to take this opportunity to address some of the concerns about the end of book 2. The worst feeling any artist can experience is to pour themselves into something they're truly excited to share with people only to learn their work comes up short.
I'm sorry to have disappointed.
I'm going to spend the next week reworking the buildup to make the necessity of the party's actions more clear, and expanding the final chapter to include more moments of higher physical and emotional stakes. I'd like to thank you all for sticking with me even through my fuck-ups, and especially those of you who stepped forward to provide feedback. I'm sorry I let you down.
