"It's working. Subject B's vitals are dropping, as expected," Emma smiles.
"Not to mention Subject A's," Dr. Petite puts in.
"She's gonna die, isn't she?" Maisie grins.
"Pretty sure she's dead now." Dr. Petite laughs. "Go in and check, why don't you?"
"Yep! Dead as... well... a stone!" Maisie grins, trying and failing to take a pulse from the frozen corpse.
"To a successful experiment." Dr. Watson toasts.
"To twenty million in grant monies!" Dr. Petite crows.
"time to retire to our quarters, I think," Dr. Watson purrs.
"Take the little idiot with us?" Dr. Petite grins.
Dr. Watson feigns surprise. "Of course!"
