Could everybody take a minute and answer this?
Added 2020-01-31 17:58:05 +0000 UTCGlorious Abney Park Patreon’s, what do you get most excited by when we release on Patreon?
* New, unreleased Abney Park songs?
* New Abney Park cover songs?
* classic Abney Park songs?
* New Music Videos
* Download codes (for people at that level?)
* Audiobook chapters (they come every Sunday.)
* Abney Park Introspections.
* Live streamed band practices.
* Live stream recording sessions.
Please don’t answer “all of them!”, as I’m looking to find out what I should be focused on.

2020-03-22 03:25:24 +0000 UTCI like it when you do "projects" like wood working and if you live streamed some of them. Also maybe a live stream or vlog of the tour bus, or trip to a gig, or stay in a far away place to play a concert, backstage antics?

2020-01-31 20:35:23 +0000 UTCOf all the things, covers edge out original songs by a hair for the top spot.

2020-01-31 18:46:26 +0000 UTCMaybe jam session is not the best term. While he does some of his own but mostly covers, Michael Kelly is the the one I tune into most often for live streamed music. Most are patrons only but he has a few archived on YouTube. Here's one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=laAneMbO_qo

2020-01-31 18:46:21 +0000 UTCAs others have said, introspections and new unreleased songs are my favourite.patreon benefits

2020-01-31 18:42:34 +0000 UTCI’m not sure how the jam sessions work with other bands, but our musicians are all professional musicians, that play with other bands, or orchestras. They follow sheet music, and rehearse what write for them, so It’s not really a “jam band”. The closest we’ve got to that is recording sessions, where we work on new songs...maybe I could stream one of those? I’ve got one booked this weekend...although the player is new to the band, and probably a little shy...

2020-01-31 18:39:58 +0000 UTCI like Introspections and unreleased stuff. I really love the audiobook chapters.
Victoria Nika
2020-01-31 18:32:17 +0000 UTCNew songs. Download codes. Introspection. Something I've enjoyed much, sadly only with other artists so far, is the idea of a live stream jam session. I'd love to see a mix of live practice, patrons-only streamed show, and live introspection.

2020-01-31 18:29:33 +0000 UTCThat would be wonderful!!
Bobbie
2020-01-31 18:26:15 +0000 UTCOkay...how about if, this weekend, I do a brand new unreleased song, and an introspection to go with it???
Abney Park
2020-01-31 18:24:19 +0000 UTCNew unreleased stuff, introspections, music videos, audiobook chapters, new cover songs, classic songs. In that order... normally not around when the live stream stuff is happening so I miss out on that. And I already purchased like everything so download codes only help out when the albums are released.
Chad
2020-01-31 18:15:43 +0000 UTCI like the introspection and live streams, it is fun to watch the interaction of everyone and then get teasers to new songs/covers.
Candie Kohler
2020-01-31 18:14:06 +0000 UTCAlso love the introspections.
Kirsten Weispfenning
2020-01-31 18:08:10 +0000 UTCNew unreleased stuff, and I love all the covers you have been doing!
Kirsten Weispfenning
2020-01-31 18:07:09 +0000 UTCI like the newer stuff. I've been a fan for a while and seeing the band's style evolve has been interesting. So my 1-2 would be "new unreleased" and then "new cover"
DrWex
2020-01-31 18:04:46 +0000 UTCIntrospections and unreleased songs. I love hearing about the stories behind the story of the song.
Andrew Oh
2020-01-31 18:04:05 +0000 UTCFor me I like the unreleased songs, covers and introspections the best followed by streamed band practice and recording sessions.
Philip Stevens
2020-01-31 18:02:35 +0000 UTCIntrospections are my favorite I think. I like new songs, but they USUALLY show up on the albums eventually. So introspections on older material gets me going. I live hearing about the inner workings, behind the scenes, thought processes, experiences that influenced, etc.
Phill The Thrill Gribben
2020-01-31 18:01:12 +0000 UTCAs someone who lives someplace where an Abney concert is unlikely (Alaska), I really enjoy the live practices. I love when new music drops as well. In general, anything that allows interaction with the band and other fans is a lot of fun.
