She doesn't need any help getting into the cockpit, really, the bio- and cyber- enchanced young woman could leap over the fighter from a standing start if she was so inclined, but this may well be the young pilot's last chance to ever touch a human being, and the thoughtful crew chief wants to make this simple gesture of kindness easy to accept without risking the nubile ace's pride...
