Patreon Development Update 04-04-2022

Finally, there are human enemies in Blue Moon!

We've been working hard over the previous few weeks to add two-legged NPCs and creature AI.

Finally, raiders, scavs, slaves, and mutants can be introduced into towns and villages.

Because integrating competent AI is a challenging task, the AI will evolve over time and become more competent as the game advances.

NPCs are divided into factions, and each faction has a viewpoint on the other factions; your actions have a direct impact on these viewpoints. Some factions are hostile from the start, while others "permit" you to commit "crimes" against them before becoming hostile. Corpses also generate various loot items, so be sure to look for them before moving on.

We'll talk about the first big faction in the next update and we'll have some pictures, but for now, we're busy building bases.
