You fully encapsulated my feelings on religion, but I do believe in God. I’m conflicted. I grew up christian but I’m no longer religious, but I also can’t fully let go of my christian foundation. It’s true, religion attracts narcissists I’ve noticed this. So does spirituality in general.

First off, I believe in God because I tried to kill myself multiple times but everytime I was saved by some retarded thing that should have not been able to happen. So I was convinced that something outside of me was protecting me, maybe to keep me suffering in this world, who cares. I think in this world there is always a balance of suffering. You said in your video that the people who are most often deeply religious are the ones who already have something to cling on to. This is false. These people are the annoying religious types who stay religious simply because they can't understand that they where born better looking or in better conditions and this is why they are successful. However behind close doors these people aren't religious at all, it's all a facade. The most deeply religious people I know are the ones who have nothing and accept it. Basically, they've sold out this life knowing they are only going to suffer, and are walking corpses waiting for the next life of bliss. EVEN IF that was wrong, at least there is a small chance they get to experience heaven, worst case is they are put out of their misery. In terms of choosing a religion, personally the most obvious one is Islam. That's what I chose after studying all three Abrahamic faiths. Its the one that actually makes most sense, has a preserved book and has the most militant followers, so I chose it. If you are an incel who knows they are going to die alone, IMO even if you don't believe in it you should at least identify with a religion because you lose nothing by doing that. Again, worst case is you are put of your suffering.

I was raised in the Bible Belt in the USA I went to religious school up till highschool I know the ins and outs I know the people it attracts I’ve seen it tear people apart. The priests abusing power only for it to be covered up. Poor people giving what little they have to the church only for the pastor to get a new private jet. Many of the worst people will live in sin all week only to come Sunday to repent then do it all over again. Most people claim to be religious but don’t understand or follow the tenets besides I’m try to be a good person. My finale nail in the coffin for my religion is just history. How many people have died for religion how many people were killed because of heresy. Men have throughout history been a cog in the machine of religion to fight their wars to die for god and for what. To be just another pawn of the elite. Religion is a means of societal control look at the Catholic Church and how it propagated the corrupt kings of Europe and helped legitimize their rule. While the peasants thought least my hard work will be rewarded in heaven… If god is real he must be some disabled child. Nothing makes sense good people will fail and die and bad people will be rewarded. I don’t personally believe in god but he must be this. The world isn’t fair it’s cruel. I live by this phrase. “No good deed goes unpunished”
