Happy New Year!

Happy new year, everyone!

Thank you for your support these last few months, and sorry about the lack of posts.

I hope you all had a chance to visit your families and that the lockdowns weren't too rough on you.

Lately I've been working on a lot of non-art related things. Mostly IT stuff (websites/programming/infrastructure stuff), but also I bought another house and have been renovating it. Mainly tearing up the floor and trim, painting, and laying new flooring. I'm hoping it'll be done soon, but it's been a lot of work. That, along with taking 2-3 weeks trying to convince the banks to loan us money, took up a lot of time. Protip: Banks don't like self-employment income.

The good news is, once its done and we move in, I'm turning the old house into an office and general artistry production space. Specifically, I'll have an office, a server room, and a streaming/recording room, at least. I've been considering getting into other interests as well, like music production (it would be cool to be able to make my own music for animations). It's nice to finally have some space to pursue some hobbies for a change.

Once everything is done, I should be able to animate and stream more often again.

Anyway, in light of my lack of productivity, I considered pausing the Patreon, but I think since I'm saving the money anyway, there's no real harm in leaving it alone. I'll leave it up to you guys to cancel if you're dissatisfied.

I've decided to start investing our savings though, since savings account interest is basically nothing. Hopefully I don't regret it, but at least it should help the balance to actually grow significantly for a change. In light of that I might give less frequent/exact updates regarding the balance, since investments go up and down all the time.

In any case, we've got about $3000 now. Nice.

Cheers.
