Hi all, here's the next helmet that will be added to the pack. I'll show you also how it got created with some "behind the scenes" pictures.
First, I created a high resolution version of the base graphics to be merged down in 3D for better accuracy. These flat pictures are perfect to get all the lines straight and clean.

Here's the graphic merged down in Adobe Substance Painter. It will need some corrections later of course but it's a great start and it didn't require too much effort.

Next I merged the top part from a top down picture so I can now extract the base graphics with the correct shape.

Now that the base graphic is in place I can start merging down the logos. Not all logos needs to be done this way in 3D but some like Santander or Bitdefender or the Ferrari logo in this case would need to be cutted and aligned in 2D so it's way easier to just merge them down on the 3D model. Same for the logos on the rear of the helmet.

You can see better here how some logos are cutted across different UV parts. Other logos like Richard Mille on the visor sticker can be just applied in 2D as they don't require any manipulation.

That was it! I hope you like this way of showing you some of the stuff that happen behind the creation of a helmet! :)
