Added 2020-05-30 05:36:04 +0000 UTCHey guys on July 1st, Patreon will start adding a sales tax to pledges so I just wanna let ya'll know before it happens. According to information they sent me, the tax will be small - for example 4% but may be higher.
However, I'm not entirely sure what exactly is going to be taxed since I mostly offer my services for the rewards and whatever I draw on my own time is here for early access but might count as "downloadable content" and while I am not sending you guys physical copies of my work, they may still count as tangible goods under these new tax laws. We will see since the examples I was sent are kinda vague tbh + it does depend on what your country considers taxable. Maybe we won't see any changes but good to let ya'll know regardless.
