Update #15

I'll be undergoing another surgery this coming Monday to address carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel issues in my right hand. It's the same procedure as before, just on the other arm. I'm feeling a bit anxious, but I have a good surgeon and, having been through this already, I know what to expect.
My left hand continues to improve post-surgery. I still have some pain, mostly around the surgical areas, but it hasn't prevented me from sitting at my desk and drawing every day. It feels amazing to be creating art again, like the recent picture of Marianne and Hilda. Currently, I have several pictures in progress and I'm working towards wrapping up the character poll requests from last year so we can move on to new horizons. I've also been thinking about the big #1000 commemorative illustration. Some of you might have noticed I skipped over that number, but I definitely plan to create something special for it.
But I'm getting ahead of myself. Regarding the surgery, my doctor felt that I had recovered enough with my left arm to approve the second surgery. I'm looking forward to addressing the issues I've had with numbness and weakness in my right hand which has made things like typing and using a mouse a struggle for me. Like before, I'll need some time to recover afterwards, but then we should be back to business as usual.
