About my recent absence
Added 2024-03-03 18:54:17 +0000 UTCSo the vast majority of you might notice I haven't publish a lot lately, and that has a reason, I've worked on Celestia the last month, the rework was not that of a problem, it took me some time but eventually managed to make her look gorgeous, I also worked on a new Celestia's bedroom map, everything was going decently good at that point.
Problem started when I mixed up both in an image, first I made the initial pose, but as soon as I tried to render I started getting crashes, I thought it was something of a few times but those were still present with any try to render and see my work, I knew it was a huge problem considering it crashed with small images and I had not even started with the alt versions, so I made tests with other files, clean a lot of stuff without any luck, I reinstalled drivers, reinstalled Blender, closed everything to avoid interferences, disable and reenable configurations, I used Blender without UI, deleted a lot of trash files, cache and temporary files. But none of these changes made an effect an Blender continued crashing.
By this point I was pretty much feeling down because I thought it might be my Pc, so I would had to change my GPU or something else, as another friend suggested the problem might be the GPU as it could have a faulty memory chip, so I was decided to spend some more money on buying a new one, but first I decided to make more testing, I tried with some demanding stuff, benchmarks, games, filling the memory with other files but didn't seem to be that the problem.
I was a bit happy to know it was not the GPU but I was still frustrated to know I couldn't find the reason of my problems, so I continued working and making the images, the problem was still there but just at the moment to render so maybe I could get to a solution while I worked with the file.
Eventually I finished the images, it was like a week before the end of February, so I still had time to edit, and in a last try to fix it I changed an old configuration of my MB (Specifically in the BIOS, something called XMP profile, but it is technical stuff), it continued crashing but after working with the file a little more suddenly crashes had stopped, was that the problem? I am not sure but I got to work.
I spent last week working on rendering, cleaning and editing, I expected to publish my last work before March 1st, but things didn't go as expected as I f*cked up my sleeping schedule, and now we're here, I hope the problem doesn't come back as I am still unsure about what was causing it.
Sorry for my absence, I am sure you will understand and I hope I can do more stuff now I can render and most of my models are updated :3
