August Update

Hey everyone. So things have been really quiet since the last post I made at the tail end of June. There's been some progress, albeit slow. I mentioned hiring Jax to help with getting in shape. Unfortunately the costs were just too high, since I'm still trying to save up to move out, and since my review channel is on hiatus and I'm dropping patrons like flies, money isn't really flowing in haha. That being said, I've been counting calories and being active, so I've lost six pounds so far and hope to lose more going forward. Might be picking up an extra shift next month at my job so if that pans out I might be able to revisit working with Jax. We'll know in a few weeks. Creatively things have been a lot more nebulous. I've been desperately trying to work on Sorceress Lost, and I'm still trying to figure out the best way to present it. Leaning towards light novels or web novels at the moment. Kinda funny after spending almost two years working on comics but hey, gotta keep trying new things until something clicks. Not exactly there yet, there's been a lot of really tough moments trying to power through some of the darker days, but I'm about 15 pages in to Chapter 1, time will tell if anything comes of it. Still trying to do fanart and stuff as well, have a few drawings I'm in the middle of but again, motivation is in short supply, not in the best mental space at the moment. Things are a little bit better in video land. I've released two new episodes of the Rebel Broadcast, both of which I think were great discussions, and I'm waiting on a couple more tablets to come in to do some reviews on. I also had an idea for a new review series called "Late to the Party". The premise would be taking a look at really popular pieces of pop culture that I never participated in, and seeing if they were worth all the hype, as someone not blinded by nostalgia. Tentative topics include Harry Potter, Sailor Moon, Final Fantasy VII, Kingdom Hearts, and Grand Theft Auto, just to name a few. Other than that I'm just trying to tread water emotionally. I'm not healthy mentally right now, but that's also not an excuse for not getting anything done. My productivity has plummeted these last few months and I'm definitely not happy about it. I'm gonna do what I can to get back in the saddle as soon as possible. Thanks for sticking around. As usual, and questions for me in the comments I'll answer ASAP
