For Rap, I liked Mayfly because of the whole performance but also the meaning behind it. For Dance, I really liked the idea behind It's One, and although my stans are in Mayfly team, It's One took the win for dance. The idea was refreshing and it was just beautiful. For Wolf performance, as an SM stan, i was happy they used Wolf by Exo, but it wasn't really new. They had many parts that were really cool, but it also felt like at times it was chaotic and not really clean. With large groups, it's hard to synchronize (which I think TBZ does well from what I have seen on Kingdom). For Vocal team, although not shown here, I really liked Mayfly. I really loved the arrangement of It's One and the fact that they used my queen Taeyeon's song, but Mayfly had a really beautiful and perfect performance.

The Boyz image is more boyish and was pretty poppy/bright in the beginning, while it's more "mature" now Sunwoo still can't really do a whole lot of rapping as they perform as a group. Sunwoo does a lot of RnB style songs but he's always wanted to try a hard hitting full on rap performance so while this stage was "very Bobby" it was something that he had a lot of fun doing and enjoyed, you can really tell he was so happy on stage ;~; Also, i'm not sure why i've seen people say The Boyz, SF9 and iKON's bond isn't good or isn't as strong as Mayfly's, like yeah obviously Mayfly are all great friends and it shows because a lot of the members in these groups are very outgoing and talkative but tbh a lot of members from The Boyz and SF9 are very shy around new people and even iKON members can be shy but that doesn't mean they're not close or that they didn't form a bond they just have different personalities and show it in different ways than Mayfly. A lot of these performances will come down to personal preference when it comes to voting since they're all very good but all pretty different. Personally for the rap round I preferred It's One because the song was just sooo my style and the stage was so fun to watch! It really felt like an actual hip hop performance while Mayfly felt more like an idol performance. For dancing too I enjoyed It's One more as the concept was very well thought out and displayed with many layers and dynamics, it was so beautiful! Once again, rather than a dance performance Mayfly's felt more like an idol performance which isn't bad but I personally wanted something more true to the titles of "hip hop, vocal and dance" performances. Idk, in my opinion grander doesn't always equal better but like I said these came down to personal preference and with the amount of rookie idols that were on the judging panel it isn't a surprise that the more "idol-like" performance won for the hip hop round.

By the looks of it It's one put the most members in the vocal unit. I was intitially confused as to why Chani or Q or Eric(SF9 and The Boyz's other main dancers) didn't take part in the dance stage and then I realised Chani and Q both during the sports day they skipped the vaulting part so they might be recovering from an injury of some sort, so it's understandable that their teams would limit them to only one dance performance.

Since most of the judges are rookies I think that played a part in the voting (even if you tell someone to be fair there’s usually some bias) and the number of people plays a role as well. I enjoyed both of the rap units song; both did a song with a great message and they gave it their all (sucks that the voting was one sided tho). It’s One killed the dance performance in my opinion and their story was captivating. I enjoyed MayFly as well, no dull moment, and they made great use of their numbers but It’s One got my vote. My question is why didn’t It’s One make use of their members 🤔 hopefully they’ll use their numbers for the vocal unit

I'm so confused by the fact that not all of them will appear in the stage unit. All of mayfly did appear so why not all of The One? I thought they were going to be in the vocal unit but there weren't that many people in the preview in the one's vocal unit so I really don't understand.

To compare the rap stages Id say Team A felt like a MAMA collab stage and Team B felt like a SMTM stage. Both hype and fun but diff vibes. Me personally i preferred Team B, the energy and power was crazy. If they had a audience they also would’ve gone crazy haha

I loved the performances so far and I know all the vocals are gonna kill it! Seeing how a large number can benefit like it did for Mayfly I don't understand why SF9 and The Boyz would waste team members by not using them like TBZ have amazing dancers but only choose to have one representative? And seeing the line up for vocal teams so many are being left out. It just feels like lost potential and also a little sad that those members from each team don't get to stand on stage at all and participate

I love both teams but I feel like mayfly really became a team/family. so many friendships bloomed during their time together like wooyoung and Felix, minho and seonghwa, chan and hongjoong just everyone really. and u can really tell it wasn't awkward when they rehearsed together. this is something I've been waiting for. also I love BTOB sm, they're like the cool uncles in mayfly's family LMAO

The energy of Its One Rap stage was crazy. Def takes number one for me. It’s also catchy af. I saw someone compare the rap stages by saying It’s One felt like SMTM and Mayfly felt like a MAMA Collab stage. Both super hype and fire but just diff vibe and i totally agree! Loved both but Full DaSH is stuck in my head haha

I loved all unit performances, they all did so well! I'm obsessed with mayfly's dance unit performance it was so cool and even though i'm not a melody, peniel made me so happy and proud he was shining this performance. i personally like the concept of jutaehyuk's dance perf, but i like the mayfly one better as performance wise. They also recorded their singing even though they won't get evaluated on vocals but it still makes the performance more impactful.

For Rap Unit, Mayfly took it for me, but only b/c of the 2nd half of their performance. That's when it got me. I actually completely prefer The One's Dance Unit though. Not b/c 2 of my biases are in it, but b/c (this is probably an unpopular opinion) Wolf has always been my least favorite EXO song ever since they debuted and even after 8 years I still can't get into it. So unfortunately, even though Mayfly had cool stunts and stuff, I didn't really enjoy it even with the little stylistic switch ups in the song.

Also idk if you noticed but Bobby had some wordplay in Full DaSH- in korean, full dash is pronounced “full da-sheu” (idk how to spell it) but it sounds like they’re saying “f*** dat sh**” lol, it’s also why Full DaSH is capitalized like that- he’s emphasizing the F, D, SH haha, it goes with the message to just forget the competition and do whatever they want!

ikonxtbzxsf9’s rap performance honestly means so much to me as a deobi- sunwoo reallyyy admires bobby as a sunbae and you could see how excited and happy he was to learn from and perform with him! he looked like he was having SO much fun on stage and it’s honestly been a while since i’ve seen him so excited. i legit almost cried when he said “i never knew i could be this happy competing”. this rap stage’s meaning was all about forgetting about the competition/tension and being unconditionally themselves on that stage. bobby really did an amazing thing and let hwiyoung and sunwoo shine in this performance by giving them the verses and letting them do whatever with it while taking the chorus for himself. he taught them how to let loose and enjoy the ride! hearing people say “i never knew the boyz had such a good rapper” almost makes me cry!! you guys said the stage was very bobby and asked if it was hwiyoung and sunwoo’s usualy style too- i think the point of this stage was that it was completely different from what people previously saw from hwiyoung and sunwoo within their groups. in groups like the boyz and sf9 they have to do perfect choreo and only get like ten seconds of rap time. but with this stage they were finally able to show their full potential where they don’t get to as much with their other members and it’s so amazing seeing people discover their talent! i’m definitely biased but i personally preferred this rap stage (though the other team totally deserved the win too)! anyways, i hope you check out a guide to the boyz soon!! thx for this reaction :)

Personally I feel like team Mayfly has better synergy and their performances feel like they became a unit, not 3 diff grps. The judging panel is a joke of coz, with only a few experts and mainly rookie idols. It’ll come down to personal preference and sorry to say, I think Mayfly is gonna win the dance round as well.

All teams did so well this week, they should be really proud of the stages they put together. Peniel is actually a rapper too, they just decided to go with Minhyuk for the rap unit instead. Also, did you know that Team Mayfly actually recorded their own vocals for their Wolf stage? You should definitely check out the 120 second Kingdom Contact videos. It's 1 on 1 videos about members chemistry for both Mayfly and Itsone.

I can understand that they choose Juyeon as the 'main chara' in other stages because he has a 'lead actor visual' as dancer (some might see as bonus). (But I wish they'd get back to their RtK POV of 'we want people to know ALL our members' names, not just of a few' ^^) But I was sad to see them bench so many talented members for the unit stages and to me honestly it's a bit wasted potential considering the skills and also the synergy + possiblities for imagery of a stage that happens with more members ^^ (Q I agree srsly had barely any scenes and he's such an amazing dancer?!, Chani could've been in dance unit, Zuho/Youngbin rapping (I'm happy that Hwiyoung was allowed to shine, deserved, but it could've been possible with a bigger unit too imho ^^)

*DISCLAIMER* I love all of TBZ members and Juyeon is one of my bias wreckers. It actually disappointed me that Q from The Boyz wasn't included in the dance group. He is also the main dancer along with Juyeon, and imo, has better facial expressions than Juyeon. Q was really pushed back into the shadows this season so that Juyeon could shine.

You seemed a bit lost at the beginning with the rankings. When the show is filmed they have experts and groups evaluation (which are 50% of the ranking). After the show airs the fan votes and stream the videos on yt and now they announced the final ranking for round 1. They gave another mid ranking for round 2 (experts+ groups evaluation+Fan votes) because they haven't calculated the exact views from yt right now. They also gave the total of what points each team have before round 3 (introduction + round 1+ round 2 without youtube views).

For the dance results, I think the younger artists/idols would most likely go for Mayfly because the "dark" and "badass" concept is something very modern nowadays. Whereas the older idols such as Super Junior [literally the only one i can remember] would lean more towards Its One because it's more contemporary and "traditional" so to say [WHICH ISNT BAD. It's the only way I could think of to phrase it]. Lia Kim I think would lean more towards Mayfly because she cheorographs alot of hard hitting dance routines. Some things I love about Its One's performance is their storyline and creativity. While Mayfly's concept is more generic [as in there's no fixed storyline], Its One has a distinct concept which could give them an edge in their performance. They also really made full use of their props in very significant ways; the swords, the shot glasses, etc. Not only that, they really did ALOT with just 3 members. Of course there's the backup dancers but they put the limited number of dancers to full use. Similarly, Mayfly has alot of pros in their performance. One thing is they do alot of stunts [ not sure if thats the right word to use]. Wooyoung rock climbing, Felix jumping, etc. Their facial expressions💯💯 They used a very well-known song and made it into something really fresh, like a completely new song to our ears which is something that experts in the previous round really look for. That's just my opinions though🥰

When it comes to his rap Hwiyoung from SF9 is someone who write lyrics that are real and relatable. For the fun kind of rap it's more Zuho, the main rapper of SF9's style, most of the songs he produce/ wrote for SF9 or himself are usually like that, very upbeat, positive and fun and about their fans (Fantasy), his members, or just having fun in life and not letting anything getting us down, like for example his solo song "The Last Festival". Next week after the vocal unit we continue with the theme of "No Limit" meaning that anything is possible including inviting other artists. That's why Lisa will performed with iKON, and Miyeon from (G)i - dle will perform with BtoB. These are the only collab that we've been made aware so far. I wonder if the other groups will bring someone as well. I kind of want SF9 to bring someone, their performance would be incredible if they bring one of the bands from their company, or they could bring P1Harmony or Cherry Bullet.

I think even though team it's one didn't win, Sunwoo and Hwiyoung could take away some important points. Especially tbz always have this tight and perfect choreo and outline in their performances (which btw is nothing bad, it's just different to bobby's and ikons style) and I think Sunwoo now understands both ways. I'm really happy that Bobby could give this message how to just relax and enjoy yourself on stage to his unit members!
