And what makes it interesting is GOT7 as a group released a song without being signed into any labels or companies. The previous groups did this started their own companies but GOT7 has opened a new path for other groups too - they don’t need the group contract to be signed under anywhere - as long as they can distribute it with a label. It certainly gives groups so much more freedom!

Im also okay with not having like an "exclusive Patreon" access as well. But most of the time, I dont watch on Youtube anymore because I already watched it. It is really hard to catch up and YoungJae and Coco will have new vlog as well, hope you can react to that 😊

Got7 aren’t the first group to leave their company and stay together, but it is still very uncommon and hardly any groups have done this. The group Shinhwa who use to be under SM left the agency in the early 2000s, but they had a lot of legal battles with SM. Got7 are deffo the 1st group of the 3rd generation to leave the agency like that and are properly the quickest group in kpop history to release any music after they left.
