It's time for surgery! (Thank you)
Added 2022-12-01 21:13:55 +0000 UTC2022's been a rough year, health-wise. But between your support on Patreon and the support I've received from people on YouTube and GitHub, I have not had to stress so much about finances!
If you haven't seen my latest video—go check it out on YouTube. Basically, I have to have a 're-site' of my stoma due to Crohn's disease complications, and the surgery will be an open surgery, so recovery could be rougher than my past surgeries (in 2013, 2014, and 2018), which were done laparoscopically.
I will keep all of you in mind during recovery, and my family and I are both eternally grateful for your support! Especially since this surgery knocks me out in December, traditionally the time when I'd get the highest YouTube revenues!
Luckily with your help I can pay the bills, and take my time recovering so I can jump right back into the fun projects I have planned next month! (Well, assuming recovery goes as planned...).
So, thank you. And I'll post an update to Twitter after the surgery, and after I'm not in a mental state too badly impacted by whatever paid meds they pump in!

Jeff, no need to respond. I just wanted you to know you're in my thoughts. Also, the retired RN wants you to remember, pain slows healing; Don't be stoic! - take the pain meds... :)
