Streaming the GeForce GTX 1080 Pi attempt!
Added 2021-05-11 02:17:07 +0000 UTCI try to do a livestream every now and then to keep my mind sharp. A ton of people have asked me to go into detail as to how I compile the Raspberry Pi kernel, how I test PCI Express cards, and whether it's possible to get any graphics cards working on the Raspberry Pi.
Judging by my experience with other GPUs, I don't know if I'll be successful, but I got a 1080 on loan from a good friend down in Texas, and I'm going to get it connected, see if the Pi will recognize it, then see what happens when we get drivers installed, or if I can get the Nouveau driver to work with it at all.
