EXO 'Overdose' EP | NSD REACTION

So, when you watch Exordium (EXO's 3rd concert tour), they do an acoustic session and Love, Love, Love is performed there, and it is SOOO much better than the studio version. The instrumentals for me, are what I don't like about Love x3. The vocals with just a guitar though? Amazing. Actually, all of the songs off of Overdose and Exodus/Love Me Right sound better live than studio recording, because the studio versions are all either EXO-M or EXO-K only. They hadn't merged into one, so Lay, Xiumin, and Chen were definitely missed. Also, Run, when they do that song live? There is nothing more hype and amazing. The track sounds slower on the album then when they do it live too. I love how you can recognize EXO's signature harmonizing style already!

Also the staff told them not to say KimJongdaewife's username because of all the drama surrounded with Chen and his marriage and child. Lots of fans (mostly korean fans) are still upset about it and still want him to be removed from the group. And SM only really cares about their Korean fans instead of protecting their artists (at least for EXO because this isn't really seen with NCT) so the staff just made things really awkward by telling Sehun not to say her username. And now Kimjongdaewife has been getting some hate towards her because of her username and being blamed for making things uncomfortable. She will have to change her username and she apologized for it even though it's not her fault and it's a username she's had for years. Also you can have the same account and play different games. They play for the HUYA X Super Idol League and have chinese translators. And sometimes fans can play with them and get prizes and signed merch. Baekhyun played League of Legends with Heechul from Super Junior back in 2016 and 2017, in 2018 Baekhyun and Sehun played PUBG, in 2020 Chanyeol played Honor of Kings(?), and now Chanyeol and Sehun are playing League of Legends.

I just watched your Youtube video (and not sure if you will see my comment over there) that came out today and just wanted correct some information! So EXO-SC (Sechan for short. Also Sehun is the hyung even though Chanyeol is older and Chanyeol says it's easier that way because Sehun is the maknae on top so Chanyeol just lets Sehun do whatever) have a predebut song called "We Young" and it is a station and has a music video to go along with it (In order to add the song on Spotify though, it's not listed under exo-sc but chanyeol and sehun separately). For me, personally, I didn't really like Run until I heard it live because it's such a fun song and all of them are so carefree while performing it. Love, Love, Love is one where I liked it but wouldn't go out of my way to listen to UNTIL they released the acoustic version with their 1st live album. That song acoustic is just *chef's kiss* for me at least I love it

Don't normally comment but as a loong time exo-l, I was lukewarm to the album at first. As with all exo songs, the LIVE version makes you change your mind. Especially with Run and Thunder. So definitely check those out.

kevin was hilarious on moonlight. i've always thought EXO albums were planned with their concerts in mind. They can't release an album that's all hype because there has to be a section in the concert for fans and EXO to catch their breaths and just have fun together, at the same time it can't just be ballads, because they're a dance group too. So sometimes some songs on the album sound random, but then when you hear how they're arranged in the concerts, wow they sound so cohesive. Shout out to Love, Love, Love that sounded so weird to me when I first heard it but the acoustic version was beautiful.

that's right! EXO titles always have that hard very machine/electronic sound but their harmonies are always on top of everything. I don't know, I usually find that songs with very heavy instrumentations have sparse vocals, but EXO songs never let up on the vocals whether it's on a song like Overdose or something like Wait. It must be nice for producers, you can come up with difficult songs because you can trust that they can sing it.
