I need your feedback

Hi everyone.

The dialogue is finished, the last hurdle is motion-implication for these 4 renders. The usual motion blur doesn't work for me (It makes me dizzy when I look at the renders), so i tried to experiment a bit and try an approach from comics and manga: Motion lines.

I'd like to hear your opinions on whether this is good or not. The set is ready to be released either way, i just want to know if this is something i should skip, or include in the set. The next post will be the set release!

EDIT: I have added a second version with a white outline for the motion lines.

I personally think that it doesn't really matter if there is or isnt motion stuff (looks fine either way😊) and on the text i think the aaah is better than the oooh because unless the characters look like they are saying oooh it doesn't make much sense but in the end its up to you and it's great to see you slowly getting back into things take it easy and welcome back 😇

Hi, thank you for the feedback. The motion blur is added in post, via GIMP's Motion blur filter and editing just a feathered selection of the image, but lately i have started to feel dizzy just looking at the image with the motion blur. Another part is also that in this set, I have problems making the blur look good. I think I am a bit rusty after having to take the prolonged break for the last few months.

Personally I prefer motion blur. Miro has used it to great effect. It can also show greater range of motion, whereas lines can be tricky. As often as not they can give the impression of vibration or trembling. I've also seen creators use near identical images in a set: one with motion blur, one without. I always assumed motion blur was added in photoshop, not when rendering. Would be a lot quicker.

Not really a fan of motion lines. However, if you feel you need them maybe white is the way to go. 🤔

The lines work, but I don't know if they mesh with your art. Maybe a different shade?
