What to do about request polls
Added 2018-09-22 02:58:56 +0000 UTCOkay so to reiterate on what I mentioned on my recent fanart poll, I realized that the poll options are capped at 20. For now, I'll remedy this by limiting requests to one per person.
However at some point if my Patreon continues to grow, there will be more than 20 people asking for a request. I wanted to ask you guys what you think I should do. Right now I have a couple of ideas:
Option 1: Make the requests first-come-first serve. Seems simple enough, but I feel this would be unfair to those who aren't awake when I post, or have been long-term/high donation supporters. This only rewards the lucky and quick Patreons.
Option 2: Attach the request ability to a higher-tier pledge level. I debated doing this originally. Which I probably should have, because if I move the requests to a higher-tier at this point (instead of at the beginning), it might seem like I'm getting greedy :\
What do you guys think? What are you the most comfortable with? Please leave your feedback and/or share your own ideas please! I don't want to change anything without the consent of my Patreons ❤

2018-09-22 22:58:12 +0000 UTCIdeally I'd like to do something similar to that, but if more Patreons sign up, that's going to be an insane amount of work, sorting through all of those options >_< Unless I can find some automated way to do this. If I end up choosing the top 20, I can do the best I can to make those priorities but it's not going to be perfect. I know I'll make some mistakes.

2018-09-22 22:56:14 +0000 UTCI second the "top 20" option. I'm not sure how this works, but maybe have a post where patrons would pitch their ideas, then pick the top 20 from there? I suck at this but I did want to applaud you for being so considerate and transparent. ♡
