I would like to wish you all a happy new year, and all the best in the coming year of 2022.
With that, I'd like to reflect on the past year in terms of content I made. And sadly, I have to say that 2021 has been one of my worst years in terms of content production. I broke so many deadlines I set up for myself, I broke many promises. I managed to fail every single one of my resolutions for 2021. If you do not know which ones am i talking about, they are:
1. Keep producing content which is worth the patronage, at an increased tempto whenever possible. (Failed pretty badly here)
2. Reach a follower milestone on twitter of 5K, and 2K on slushe. (While I got the twitter part, I did not manage to get the slushe part)
3. Collaborate with at least one artist on a short set or one render, possibly do an art trade. (completely flunked this, the one commission of Grace doesn't count)
4. Save up for a new GPU and a new Monitor. (The GPU shortage fucked me over here)
While keeping these in mind, I wanted to have more realistic resolutions this year.
1. Get faster at setmaking. Make at least 5 sets in the year.
2. Collab with an artist on one or two renders.
And thats it.
I hoped to make a new year's render, but I must admit, i havent rendered out anything in the last week. I feel like making stuff is not fun anymore, and any attempts end up with me closing the program and escaping to some game, just feeling tired of everything. This can't continue, as its screwing up both my studies and the setmaking. I'll force myself to make more renders for the KDA set, as its still stuck at 20 renders, which is somewhere between 1/3rd or 1/4 of the set done. No idea how long it will be but definetly between 60 and 80 renders.
Thank you, everyone, for your amazing support in this past year. You've all been incredibly kind to me and I wasn't able to give you proper content to make it worth it. I will do my best to improve in 2022.
