If I were to pin a 'thing' to each DM. I'd say it's genres. For the two campaigns I've seen of each- Grizzly is seafaring age of exploration, island hoping adventures. (TMK and RipTide.) Condi is Myths and legends. Greek with the gods and general cultural themes and each of the campaigns felt like an old legend with the nonsense directions they take. (Judgement and Apotheosis.) Bizly is sci-fi fantasy. PD is set in the future with ghosts and lazers and super powers. Wonderlust is steampunk and magic is freaking coal! The blend of scifi and fantasy is really good. (Wonderlust and Prime Defenders.) And finally Charlie. Charlie? Horror. Both campaigns have used darker systems. Have had series story's. (If you read the summary of events.) He knows how to have an awful element, yet somehow still have it be funny without losing the unnerving atmosphere. (Tha Suckening, Blood In The Bayou.) The exceptions are in the one shots. Williams home in call of Cthulhu. Unwitness protection program, is run by Bizly. And his attitude towards rolls and going quiet is perfectly attuned to raising tension. In episode 1 I haven't watched any other one shots yet. I've been watching the campaigns before the one shots. Riptide last. Still. They definitely have themes to what they like to run.
