Added 2022-08-29 05:42:17 +0000 UTCInoticed that it's pretty common for new patrons to immediately adjust their pledge from $2 to $5. And that makes me afraid that the tier descriptions might not be clear enough as to what you're gonna get?
Is that the case? Should I change the tier's descriptions?

You have a point. *right now* nobody gains anything by becoming a $2 supporter. There's no poll and all the animations have been released. That's a mistake I'll make sure to not happen next month onwards. To make sure that there's at least a poll in here before releasing an animation

2022-08-31 06:51:42 +0000 UTCI thought I had replied to you but apparently I only replied to my own post 🤦♂️ I'll copy and paste it here: "Right when I decided to add alts. as a Patreon perk, I changed the tier descriptions to add the alts. to the bullet points of the respective tiers and changed the wording to "you get almost the exact thing", which was, admittedly, a very stupid way of doing things. I'm not surprised at all that this could have caused confusion. I'm sorry for the people who pledged before this change though. I hope people understand it was a mistake born of ignorance instead of malice. The tiers have been changed again and now it's a lot more clearer. There shouldn't be any confusion from now on. I didn't want to make exclusive Patreon content (except for polls) in the beginning, but some patrons seemed to like the idea of exclusive animations. The exclusive alts. seemed like a nice solution. I'm not sure if I should release the them or not, but I can make a poll to decide it."

2022-08-29 08:53:50 +0000 UTCI think people are only reading that all tiers get the same stuff but don't actually read that the $2 tier doesn't get alternate images whereas the others do so as mentioned in another comment it falls to people not reading the descriptions properly

2022-08-29 05:50:56 +0000 UTCNah. Seemed clear enough to me and they may be switching based on content you are locking behind the $5 tier that they aren't seeing in the $2 tier. People are fickle though and it's anybody's guess l suppose.
