The ark theme hit me with a wave of nostalgia

No Life

I just want to say your choices of music are great, and I really love the Life is Strange music. It gives a feeling of warmth and coziness to me! So thank you.

Narwhal Lord42

I dont know how but I hope william dies and comes back as the whisperer. Guy William is so boring at the near "end"

Xéphen

LOL when the ark theme kicks in, it's perfect timing

ToppHatChicken

The Ark: Survival Evolved Music when William was saying he didn’t want to slow them down was absolutely perfect

so theories for next episode. for 1 slime said this episode made him cry (he said this in a tweet) so i think 1 one two things are gonna happen 1 tide dies or 2 ash dies. if none of these happen mark or lightspeed might die. or its happy crying and for the first time in months we get a happy jrwi episode. its been about 4 months since a happy episode for both of the main shows AND THIS IS THE ONE TO MAKE CHARLIE CRY!?!!??!?!?! im so scared for this next pd episode dude

kyryizzle

Ye i saw that, whilst I may be a bit sad that slightly rushed (IMO) I know how ever they do it will still be amazing

Seizuristic

I think will will (ha) get his powers back because charlie said in his faith live stream about half way through (just before he exercised the Staind glass in the Church) that will out of all characters he has played has had the best arc and he did say it was in the last episode of S2

aidan

BTW Mr. Bizlychannel, if you are looking for good extensions for Souls games (caused I noticed the use of the ds3 main menu theme during the trickster fight) there's this really good channel called tomito that makes really good souls extension

bober

I ain't reading all that

Seizuristic

I think that the next episodes going to be the last (or second last) of the season, and during which a couple of main things are going to go down leading us into next season (after the suckening most likely) From other comments, i think i agree that to regain his powers william will probably have to die. I think william wont though, and instead, while trying to defeat the trickster, they will inevitbly kill ash. This would end the season, leaving dakota fully broken, will in despair, and vincent somewhere in the middle, but trying to keep it together to keeo the other two from spiralling. With this, he will start talking to paper man (forgor his name) and he will learn about the afterlife. I think the solo episode on the paper man was a foreshadowing of this perhaps? Vincent will learn that there is in fact an after life, and a way back. This will lead into the group trying to figure out how to get there, and then navigate their way to finding Ash so they can bring him back. During which, i think we would get a lot of devolopment from will, especically since he doesnt even think there is an after life but just a void. Will will find his will to live (metaphorically) (will will will lol) and either reclaim his powers/or die to bring ash back, also reclaiming his powers. But bringing some one back to life has consequenes. Not only will mallard conway either want to stop them or punish them after, but either way he will be likely furious. The only way will could placate mallards anger, is to become the whisperer. The only problem is that mallard conway said heaven and hell has fallen. This leads me to believe that i have no clue in that situation. Perhaps they will still try to go to thd afterlife, only to find it desolate, souls running free, in a kinda power grab kinda place. And only once will takes his powers back can he fix it? Perhaps we will learn how it all collapsed. Perhaps when paper man escaped thats when it happened, and we will see the consequences of those actions too, which will lead paper man to accepting that he is dead, and finally move on, once things are fixed, as he realises the dead shouldnt be brought back. Perhaps he will trade places with ash, believing ash's death to be unnatural/ash isnt fully dead but still in the afterlife, as he didnt die but rather went there when the trickster did? Of course when i say all this i expect it to be in the next season (or possibly even two), with this season coming to a conclusion with the trickster being beat and ash being dead, the group in despair. But idk, just a thought.

Seizuristic

Controversial option, wiwi is a doggie poopoo character that makes me frustrated

Casketeer

yes. but, add mallord conway- for Zantharuse's post idk how patreon works

Amelia

Honestly I'd be happy if Will was actually on the front lines for this final fight, im sure he will end up there at the end, but to me it seems like Will is not willing to put his life on the line for Ashe like Vincent and Dakota, I hope him seeing Tide get repowered will give him the courage to be more open about getting his powers back.

Zasne

Yeah that's fair, an arc right before the Trickster where he gets his powers and deals with the cantrip situation could've been cool but now that they are fighting the Trickster I feel like we gotta wait a bit 😭😭😭

Zantharuse Xanny

I agree with the fact that he shouldn't just wake up and magically have his powers back, he should have a good arc where he gets his wisps back, but I feel that it should have happened before this, his character isn't satisfying right now, I always liked his creativity with being physically weaker than his friends, but without his powers he is basically useless against stronger opponents, him literally shitting on the Trickster as a bird isnt satisfying character development as funny as it is.

Zasne

For sureeeee. They both need their own time to develop and happen

Zantharuse Xanny

It's not for no good reason he's scared because for what happened in his past he's scared because he killed cantrip and he's scared of his body decomposing I feel like everyone forgot about that because of Dakota's arc but the reason that arc even happened was because will gave his heart to Dakota because he knew that it would kill two birds with one stone how I see it is he has to be brave but because of everything that has happened to him he's scared and hesitant so he's not scared for no reason everything that has happened is why hes scared and i think that charlie is playing him perfectly and when playing a TTRPG you should not do what you would do but you should do what you're character would do so charlie is not being stubborn his being William

aidan

I also think that this will be a bad time for will to get his powers back because I think that it could overshadow them saving ashe or them saving ashe could overshadow will getting his powers back and neither of those things should be overshadowed

aidan

Yeah!! This exactly, there's just too much going on with Wiwi right now to justify a satisfying reunion with the Wisps, unless it's one out of necessity, aka, the battle with the Trickster gets even worse. It could happen, but I feel like a lot of people commenting about it just expect William to be fully accepting of them immediately, which does not feel right at all.

Grrafe

I agree partially with the people saying wiwi needs to die to get his powers back but I feel like he needs to be in a better place to be able to accept them. Him getting them randomly and without earning them back or addressing the reasons he lost them in the first place just cause hes weak doesn't sit right with me. I feel like the PD as a whole should reach a pretty big low and then work their way back and surpass where they were. Willaim gaining his powers back, Dakota growing mentally, and Vincent realizing his own set of moral values and whether he want to be a hero. Overall giving them all a much needed character arc. I do think Will dying (especially in Deadwood) could help push this (forcing Dakota to face not being able to save someone, helping Vince discover himself and getting Will to gain powers and face his past. Helping them all mature from teens to adults.) However I feel like having that happen now isn't the best story-wize. (Don't trust me tho I'm rooting for Will to be stuck in the afterlife till he gets better 😭😭😭) Either way just my opinion and I'm sure the team has a great story planned for us and I'm excited to see it!

Zantharuse Xanny

Oh absolutely, I agree 100%. As a character arc, that's the end goal. William more than likely will learn to accept the wisps, and I really, really hope he does. It's just that at this point in time, with what took place just a couple days ago for William (killing Cantrip and nearly killing literally 3 other people, including Tide), I just don't see him accepting any power right now. William Wisp is scared if he has that he'll just hurt more people, which is so fair considering the situation. It's just that so much has happened to him, because of him, and he doesn't want the opportunity for something to be screwed up because he made the wrong decision. Imagine if he took that deal with Conway and Ashe ended up dead, which would likely be the case. That would tear him apart. Doesn't help that he never wanted the wisps in the first place, that all of this was thrust onto him. It's just a really hard situation to be in for anyone. But, again, I really do hope that some time in the future he does end up reconciling with the wisps, but I really don't think now would be the time he does, and if he does, it would probably be out of desperation for him, his friends, and families lives. Not because he genuinely wants to be with them, at least initially. They did fuck up his life in several ways (the obvious ways, and the idea they probably made him trip off that cliff lmao).

Grrafe

I think with Will’s acceptance of the wisps and by extension the wisperer is the end goal of William overcoming his fears to do what’s right. And I highly doubt Will in his current state can do anything to fight the chaos devil with a shotgun, a chainsaw and a bird, although I don’t doubt Charlie’s creativity so we shall see. But in the stories current position, it seems we’ll have to rely on the two play characters who have grown to accept their flaws and bettered themselves despite them.

DADS HOME 😭🥰

Addie is Raddie

I Get you bro. But seriously, it's like what I said in a different comment, he's finally becoming his own person seperate from the wisps. I really want to see where it goes with William moving further away from the wisps. Like, they're cool, I love them, but William hasn't had the time to be his own guy and that makes me so sad. Yeah he's cringefail, but you need to fail to get better. I want to see him become powerful without the wisps, without all the afterlife crap. And while it will be a while before we see William accept the fact that he does hold power, even without the wisps, it's just an infinitely more interesting character arc than him just accepting the wisps because of pressure. He's growing a spine! It's so awesome, let my boy become his own person! Let him be his own hero!!

Grrafe

Dude. Dude. You Get me. I already loved him even with the wisps, but he’s so much more interesting when he doesn’t have them. Wisps are cool, but I think a shotgun is cooler

Blip Sai

I need the people here to realize William finally having the ability to deny the wisps and to control his life is the greatest character development to ever happen to him. It is out of fear, but it has allowed William to grow as a person, even if it may have led to some bad things happening to him. For the first time in about two years or so for William he's finally gotten to be able to make decisions for himself. He's not being flung around constantly by the duty of being a hero and by spiritual spooks trying to get him to do what they wish for him to. He's finally alive, literally. Let my boy be powerless, he's still got other shit up his sleeve! He's not useless, and he's proved that several times over ever since he got rid of not only the wisps but also the smoke abilities.

Grrafe

I have never cheered for a TTRPG episode before... that changed today 😂

BigBlueBearBoy

This episode was SO worth the (brief) wait. Oh my GOD.

echotheloco

Dude, I'm in love with the fact he doesn't have powers. It raises the stakes for him by a mile, and makes so much sense for him as a character. What makes it especially interesting is the fact that Charlie decided that William should be modeled after various horror villians, which just says a lot when paired with his actions and thoughts. Wisps are nice, but it was only when he went without them that I think Charlie really got in sync with William Wisp as a character, and I do feel in some capacity they have been holding William back just as a person. This really feels like the first time we've seen major growth with William, and in my opinion, the first time he's felt like more than an archetype (meaning I struggled to see him as a well built character beforehand). It's so interesting to me dude. (all that said I do miss the wisps my little guys my itty bitty blue boys come home to me pspspsps)

Grrafe

i agree! i especially like the ways we get to explore william’s character. im rooting for william to get his powers back in a way which will make him feel more in control and whatnot, but that’s not to say i’ve found william without powers boring

CheapTaxidermy

Wait is Will not having powers being a boring thing a common sentiment among some fans? I always thought it was really interesting, to see how a powerless character would do in a very superpower heavy world. its also an interesting point for Will as a character, at least to me. (Though I do agree that the whisperer powers would be very helpful right now lol)

Blip Sai

Really hoping to see William jump off a cliff and get the wisps back or something because goddamn we need that shit severely rn lmao

I'm Just Mason

Really hoping by the next episode Charlie finally decides to give very much needed character development for Will to embrace the powers of The Wisperer.

KING SHIT TODAY!!!!!!!

Comic

I fell like Charlie misunderstood why people like will it's not his uselessness it's his creativity and and the whisps

pinheadlarry

As the dark souls/ elden ring ambassador. Pay your editor double for using the dark souls 3 main menu theme for the start and end of the trickster fight. Thank you Ikarus!!

John EldenRing

Yeah I'm hoping that some how next episode he gets his whisperer powers back (haven't finished yet)

pinheadlarry

Maybe I’m just being hypercritical but I really wish that will would stop being useless. Maybe it’s just because he used to be my favorite. I love supernatural things and to see him throw it all away because he’s scared just sucks.

Squig

Why is Charlie so stubborn. The only reason everyone hasn’t been killed is because bizly wont let them. Realistically speaking William needs to be the whisperer but for no good reason he won’t. Oh well, I guess we’ll see

Squig

22:35 was that the song from ark that’s way too loud when you open the game
