v0.17 Alpha release

I've replayed all the way since the v.014 part, back when the "cest" variable should be set, and the farewell sex scene with D still won't activate. I guess it is a true bug, unrelated to old saves, then.

2018-06-27 23:47:29 +0000 UTCAnother good update, full of interesting stuff. A satisfying (if predictable) milestone to the swingers' club and M/Ethan subplots. Resolution for Ash's living arrangements. As much as I liked the D subplot I loved the Jess one more, especially with the increased potential of Ash and Jess pursuing a parallel career in the adult business and sharing Jack and Tyrone as fuckbuddies. The Ethan option sure has its substantial financial and kink rewards but with D and Arthur, Ash already is more than covered as it concerns the older man/sugar daddy/father figure angle, a third one seems overkill. It seems Ash leaving the apartment is going to end the relationship with D. Perhaps necessary to trim the subplots tree I suppose but a pity since potentially speaking it might well continue even w/o cohabitation. Yay for Ash getting even more threesome fun and returning Nat the favor. More office flirting and hot lesbian loving with Eve. I hope Ash can persuade Dave and Eve to share a fuckbuddies/open relationship. I have high hopes for Tyrone's party in the near future.

2018-06-27 18:44:58 +0000 UTCReally good update, maybe not as great as last one (which imho was the best to date), but with plenty of goodies and some interesting development regarding the living arrangements and all that. I found kind of weird not hearing from Eric (for an Ashley that already knows he’s alive I mean), but I guess he’ll be important in v0.18 . I have to say that I’m not thrilled about Dave leaving for Rome in a couple months, as a boyfriend Dave told one of my Ashleys, it kind of mirrors all the Eric’s situation a bit too much; but I trust Eva Kiss skills to make that a completely different storyline and don’t re-use plots too much. And just a suggestion for the camgirl business, beyond having various partners invited Ash can use a lot of different toys. At some point Nat talks as if Ash has an open relationship with Dave, and Ash says yes for convenience's sake, but in my playthrough, she has none. She just has a fuckbuddies relationship with Jack (and a helluva lot of other people, bless her slutty soul, but not Dave, at least not yet until sexy Eva hopefully decides to branch out her lesbian tryst with Ash in a threesome) as Nat herself acknowledged in previous dialogue. It happens just before she asks for a threesome.

2018-06-27 15:20:37 +0000 UTCExcellent update as always. I was really thorn between Ash staying at home and becoming Jess' flatmate, either option appealed to different kinks. In the end, going with Jess prevailed because I really wish our readhead and blonde sex goddesses duo to become pornstar teammates with benefits and share a lot of scenes. I only found the farewell scene with D really too curt, they just share an hug and part ways despite being lovers in my playthrough and then Ash moves out. Looking at the script, there is actually some extended dialogue of the two discussing their relationship and then a farewell sex scene scripted but this part doesn't activate in my playthrough. I assume there is a bug that walls off the scene. On further checks it seems the problem is the "cest" variable not being activated. It was supposed to in the v14 section of the script; probably Eva made some recent changes to that part that are not included in my saves. I know it would be best practice to replay each new version of the game from the beginning to avoid such continuity problems but this game has grown so (thankfully) big and complex this is just impractical most of the time, even with the skipping function. Yay for Ash expanding her budding pornstar career into camgirling.

Good Ashley's face is at the left position, while her body is centered at: "I was relaxing in my room, checking out my Instagram account as I used to do." The bug that Cabot mentioned when Ashley is partying with Dave and Nat also appears with Jack. Thug Ashley's avatar changed into Good Ashley at "I got back before Nat did." and changed back to Thug Ashley at "Nat grabbed me and started kissing me." And something from an earlier release: "Going back to the campus after the crazy summer I'd had felt almost unreal, like these past few months had been a dream." Thug Ash is shown with the avatar without implants (even though she has them). The correct avatar is shown at "I returned the magazine to Kevin."

2018-06-27 14:54:11 +0000 UTCAnother one kind of important: for a non-addicted Ash visiting Thug Eva game jumps to “v17d” (in lines 100173 or 100183) without checking natfriendship points, so the meeting with Nat never takes place. Also if Eva dropped out of college and Ash didn’t flirt with Kevin but also didn’t reject him (“else” in line 104750) he joins the study group after Eva talking in the scene (lines 104754 and so on).

Well, again… Bug report: - The glitch I reported in the preview is still there: for a sexy Ash with no enough money to enter The Wheel her face is messed up after “I’m sure you can chip in”. - After “I was relaxing in my room…” (line 100732) Ash’s face is showed at the left while her body is in the middle of the screen. - A variable bug: “jesslebian” in line 105154 should be “jeslesbian” or maybe “jesslesbianv16” (the “s” are a mess on those ones). Something similar happens with “jesslebianv16” in lines 98528 and 98865. - And a couple more: “careethan” in line 101611 should be “carethan”. And “sesexjack” in 100758 is not defined. - If thug Ash goes to see thug Eva at Wilson her body is not displayed and after “Wait, what” only is face is shown at left. - Also for a thug Ash if invites a non-boyfriend Dave to partying with Nat her outfit turns to the good one after “I got back before Nat did”, just before proposing the 3some to him. I think it also happens with Jack. - Possible continuity error: in v.016 Bad Jess proposes Ash to live together if “livejessica” (which comes from v.014) is true OR “jessfriendship” > 1, but in v0.17 only “livejessica” is checked; so although Jess proposes it last update in this one Ash doesn’t consider it as an option to move in.
