Iron maiden, they have some great historical songs while they don't have history videos like sabaton they're worth checking out...I'd recommend "Alexander the great"...."the longest day"..."empire of the clouds"...."montseguer" they do have non historical songs too that have themes mostly around spirituality, occult, mythology, the bible etc

If you like fun metal music I'd say Alestorm is the one to go with. Sabaton's Tommy Johanssen has made some awsome stuff and Beast in Black is a nice one.

I can't think of any specific artist, but I'll suggest a few one offs. I'd love my fellow Patreons' input. The unexplainable phenomenon: Electric Callboy - Hypa Hypa ⠀⠀The German electronicore band Electric Callboy has quickly become hit machines. Why? Because they're absolutely crazy (Source: my brain). Still, they've garnered a lot of attention and people love them. ⠀⠀Prediction: I have no idea how you'd react. Turn it off after 30 seconds? Dance 'til you drop? They're an unexplainable phenomenon. I can't explain. ⠀⠀https://youtu.be/75Mw8r5gW8E (Official Music Video) The extremely European one: Kalush Orchestra - Stefania ⠀⠀The winning song at Eurovision Song Contest this year, representing Ukraine. ⠀⠀The Eurovision Song Contest is a music competition founded after WW2 with the purpose to unite a war-torn Europe. Every participating country (including Australia, because why not? They're almost in Europe*) sends an act to the hosting country, we watch all the acts (takes hours) and then we vote. Some acts are top notch, some are beautiful, some are bangers and some are just batty. ⠀⠀Prediction: You'll be slightly puzzled, but happy and entertained. The song is in Ukrainian and Eurovision Song Contest is weird. You'll also be overrun with Europeans requesting other Eurovision songs from THEIR country. You'll get to learn a lot about Europe and it's probably great for views. Still puzzling for Americans, though (and let's be honest, we Europeans are puzzled, too, we're just lying to ourselves). I believe in this one. ⠀⠀https://youtu.be/F1fl60ypdLs (Live in the Grand Final) ⠀⠀* No, but they're part of the British Commonwealth, that's their loophole. I have no idea what Azerbaijan's excuse is, but ok. Let's not dwell on it. The uncomfortable one: Rammstein - Mein Herz Brennt ⠀⠀Rammstein is a German industrial metal band (sometimes called a Neue Deutsche Härte band, don't ask me what that means, I have no clue) with controversial, sometimes political and often dark songs. Their videos are artsy, but often frightening and explicit. ⠀⠀Mein Herz Brennt ("My heart is burning") is one of their greatest hits and is about children's nightmares. The video is artsy and dark, but not too disturbing for YouTube. It's not a controversial song, it's simply scary metal. ⠀⠀Prediction: You'll find the song OK and hate the video. Your viewers will like to see you squirm. There's also a risk that you'll fall down the Rammstein rabbit hole. That could actually be fun! It could also be quite horrible. For you. ⠀⠀https://youtu.be/WXv31OmnKqQ (Official Music Video) The Icelandic 90s hit: Björk - Human Behaviour ⠀⠀The Icelandic singer Björk is a true musical icon — the Queen of European alternative 90s pop/rock/triphop/omg-what-is-this. She's adorable, has a great voice and her own, unique style. She sings in English. Human Behaviour is one of her first hits. ⠀⠀Prediction: Odds are, people are too young to remember Björk. Then you'll be stuck with a 90s hit by a strange Icelandic lady and 12 views (four of them being me). ⠀⠀https://youtu.be/p0mRIhK9seg (Official Music Video) I realise now, that I'm not certain if I copy-pasted the correct links, because it's five o'clock in the morning. Oh, well.
