One of our neighbors where I was growing up had one of those numbered tattoo's. I asked him if he was in a gang, my mother slapped me upside the head before I finished enunciating my last word. I forget what he said after that (probably due to the brain trauma that was just suffered haha) but I remember laughing real hard at it. It wasn't until years later I learned what that was and by then he had passed away. I only ever knew him as the funny tattoo man next door.
