Thanks, I feel like the pacing of the show is starting to ramp up now that they have laid the foundation.

2021-12-10 16:45:32 +0000 UTCI know the struggle of trying to stay awake after a long day of work, can't be helped. This is one of the darkest moments of the show. Like I mentioned in my youtube comment on episode 3, the 2003 version of the show takes a little more time with this episode and expands on Tucker's reasoning a bit more. In Brotherhood Tucker just seems like a sociopath who wants the good life, but in 2003 is a little more complicated. He's a doting father who is pushed to the brink and has a mental break. He wants to provide for Nina, so he can't lose his state certification, but he can't keep it without producing results. He feels caught in a catch 22, and he kind of realizes that after Ed pummels him. At one point Major Armstrong mentioned "the Ishvalen Civil War," that becomes a major plot point soon, and they'll drop hints about it until it pops up in the narrative, so make sure you make note of it when mentioned. Keep up the good work!
