Ahh so this is the scene Inn mentioned. In an interview he talked about how French was really difficult to learn (but fun), but this scene with his dad was the toughest one since it was an emotional scene. I really hate the conflict because of an assumption plot. It's always the assumption that the other is in a relationship and I'm so over that plot 😭 Thankfully it barely lasted here. Grandma isn't allowed to cry when she's the one pushing Thee away and ignoring him like girl bye lol. I know right GreatInn did not have any passionate kisses in this series which is sad. It was all very soft. In this series GMMTV has either cut their kiss scenes short or just had them touch lips 😭Like I want more cause their chemistry is so good. Other than the dad being mentioned and the grandma it was a nice finale. I really really hope we get a GreatInn series where Inn doesn't play a character that resembles Wandee. Rati, though slightly different, did have some of the same traits as Wandee (like easily giving up on their relationship some episodes ago when Lady Pa first showed up) and I'm hoping for something different. Yesss Great always has such great green flag characters I love it. It really felt like they were not allowed to ACT act with how casual they were about them parting for who knows how long. I feel like GMMTV wanted everything in this series to stay "pretty", so they could not fully let their emotions flow idk. Overall it was still a nice series and I really love GreatInn

If somebody doesn't love you for who you are! Then they don't deserve your love!!🙌❤️❤️❤️

29 hours? Girl, try like 30 to 40 days for that boat ride. Rati had more than enough time to read those letters. What was this finale even trying to do, Lydia? 😆 My brain is just sitting here like… what the hell did I just watch?
I’m sorry to harp on the last episode because I really did love this series, but I have some issues with how it wrapped up.
So Mother Buaphan goes from living on her own to moving back into the grandfather’s house to “take care of it” for the rest of her life? Do they mean as a servant? How exactly is that an upgrade?
And Lady Pa. Earlier in the series we saw her love interest and that gave me hope for her. Then in the last episode it’s just like, oh she became a nun until Thee came back from war, and then suddenly she’s with someone we have no connection to. Why couldn’t she have ended up with the man we were actually shown instead of someone random? It makes it feel like her story wasn’t important enough to finish properly. Is this really how we’re going to treat an ally in the early 1900s?
The grandmother is still alive but still too prideful to say goodbye to her grandson, even though it might be the last time they ever see each other? At that point just show an urn.
And why did we not get to see Thee’s sexy hot dad one last time? Or the half brother? Both just vanish like they were never there.
Also, why even bring up Mek wanting them to visit Dech’s father? Five years isn’t going to magically reform a man that rotten. Unless that crowd on the street literally beat a new personality into him that day, which seems highly unlikely.
Minus the bad French, I loved Memoir of Rati for the journey, the performances, the chemistry, and the way it looked and felt. But the ending ended up making me feel disappointed 😔
