After reading the novel I realized that Charlie should be very different than in the series. Of course he still has this cute and more submissive side to Babe but he had much more personality in the novel, he had more abilities/powers, he had more influence in relation to Tony because in fact he was one of the children that Tony likes the most precisely because of his power and in the series they ruined his role a lot, they made him very stupid most of the time. The scene of their reunion, for example after Charlie's "death", is much more emotional and Charlie doesn't laugh, he feels guilty and apologizes to the babe for deceiving him with something like that. They messed up the first season so I really hope they do justice to the second season. There are a lot of twists and turns, from anger, it leaves us shocked, happy and sad, various emotions and Charlie is crucial in everything so let's hope to be better now.
