Thats attached to her tail. All water mage characters have an aspect of water to them. Like the polar bear who has water hair. The other otter boy with deep blue eyes. Fins are also common on creatures that dont normally have them. (but only if they are mages, and the 'elemet' reflects the alteration) Zuriel has a fin along the top of her tail that goes a third of the way down, following the spine. https://www.furaffinity.net/view/20766070/ Similarly, it is not a common trait for cheetah's to have fire like hair. His hair is like that due to his fire aspect.
