Lol, nor have I but I worked on a farm for a good portion of time and had experienced this with goats and smaller more docile bulls. ... dont try it with an angry bull..

In my experience, grabbing an animal by its horns/antlers gives you a lot of control over said animal. Twisting or pushing one or the other can result in loss of balance.

I'm thinking it may be a case of "where the head goes, the rest of the body follows". If she pulled his head, it may have caused him to fumble in the air.
