Life Update: I'm moved!

Hello!! Im writing this post from a completely different state and in a completely new home! Aint that wack?  I'm not good with words so I'm gonna spew out some raw rambling thoughts about whats goin on right now

My PC *is* setup, I had to order some new cables but my tablet can plug in and work. At current, I don't have a desk- im writing this from a living room couch with everything kind on my lap. It's far from ideal and I havent really found my stride in trying to draw like this

Concerningly- my tablet is having little bouts of just, not working? Big dead spots on it that just dont pick up the pen. If I look at it funny it starts working fully sometimes so I'm kind of at a loss- I'm gonna work around it as best I can for now- but my tablet may just be dying and getting a new one is... not cheap

Good news though! Fuck me ya'll don't know just how much more alive I feel being out of that old house- not waking up to shouting and door slamming is kind of awesome??? I still have a lot of hiccups and mistakes to make before I really like, *get* the whole "you live somewhere new and need to be independently responsible" part of life- but It's going to be better!!! And im going to do better stuff cause of it!!

;w; sorry if my art pace is still slow for awhile, I want to promise big things like a comm opening again next month but- I'd rather not force myself into deadlines before I even fully know how to draw effectively here. I'll be using this bit of time to get myself back into my work habits, and once that ball is rolling I can resume normalcy and the monthly openings.

I'm somewhere I feel at home now- and I'll make it work 💙
