It's Sony's Hot Monsters Who Fuck vs Alan Moore Adaptations.
With Sony's Hot Monsters Who Fuck, we'd cover the three films released by Sony/Columbia in the early 90s that were very Serious adaptations of classic monsters. And they're sexy (??):

LXG is a hoot and a half and the commentary for it would be a blast unquestionably. The only snooze at all is From Hell, and I'm sure there's plenty of fun Jack the ripper impressions that would get us through that

I think there'll be a lot more fun and interesting discussion generated by the Moore movies than one wild movie and two fairly bland ones. Maybe we can get Coppola on main, though - he's currently beating Guillermo Del Toro!

2025-03-23 20:47:01 +0000 UTC(Let me add that I think TIDELAND is at a minimum a fascinating disaster of a film, and even if BROTHERS GRIMM is a nothing of a movie and ZERO THEOREM is kind of just a “greatest hits” retread, the slow motion collapses of IMAGINARIUM and WHO KILLED DON QUIXOTE are fascinating tales onto themselves. So much that the latter produced a pretty decent documentary based just on the behind the scenes insanity.)
