I have read a ton of Elmore Leonard and love his movie adaptations. However, Police Story would yield some amazing reactions and Be Cool is the shittiest thing I've maybe ever seen in a theater.

This is an incredible matchup for Round 1, both so great that it could honestly be the Finals. Jackie deserves to go much further in the bracket, but backdooring into perhaps the individual best films of Soderbergh, Tarantino, and Sonnenfeld is just too powerful.

True. There is also a good argument on what is the best or your favorite. Those first 3 are all some of my favorite movies. My opinion changes a lot, but right now- it's Get Shorty. It's streaming on YouTube. It's so funny and so cool. Travolta is amazing in it.

I think there’s a lot more to talk about with Police Story than just the action. While the action is incredible and the stunts are the main draw the plots are good and the humor is fantastic

There are more Leonard films than that though. There are the two “3:10 to Yuma” films, there’s “Hombre,” there’s “52 Pick Up,” there’s “Stick,” which was one of a handful of the films Burt Reynolds directed, there’s Paul Schrader’s “Touch…”
