Welcome to the first day of Blank Check March Madness, the only tournament-style competition happening this month, and the only film-related event happening this weekend!
Our first Patreon matchup brings us a battle of literary adaptations (technically). It also brings us smoldering movie stars in iconic trench coats.
It's PHILIP K. DICK vs PULP HEROES.

LMAO I’m being facetious, but still. Richard Linklater, John Woo, Lee Tamahori, and Ridley Scott might all make it to the main feed one day, but there’s no way in hell Warren Beatty or Simon Wincer will ever get there. So when voting this year, just keep in mind that some of these directors might eventually make it to the main feed.

It seems odd to waste MM on a director with a (relatively) short filmography that can be slotted anywhere versus someone like Lean who really needs a MM win to be covered
