2024-02-29 21:35:51 +0000 UTCHonestly - more the former, though I have attempted Twin Peaks in the past and just accepted it wasn’t working for me at the time and I’d get to it again some day. I don’t think this podcast is the best format for covering larger format shows, with a few exceptions (if they do Satoshi Kon one day, for instance, his show is short enough and his filmography is sparse enough that it would make sense to program Paranoia Agent in there). David Lynch already has such a totemic filmography without including twin peaks and even so, you already have a built in avenue to talk about it with FWWM. If it was just like, the pilot on patreon id be more into it, but tbh, I was probably never gonna vote for Lynch anyways, I like him but I don’t need a blank check miniseries on him - them doubling down on twin peaks only makes him less appealing to me for coverage!
