How did they do 10 minutes on Dame Judi Dench and Griffin not address her being SECOND BILLED iN THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK

2023-12-07 15:16:56 +0000 UTCNapolean wasnt technically French. He was Corsican. An Italian island that was part of France at the time. So he spoke with something closer to an Italian accent.

2023-09-30 04:44:15 +0000 UTC"Richard Sharpe's girlfriend/wife" is probably the only job as dangerous as "Bond girl." I'd rather risk the frozen ponds at Austerlitz!

2023-09-27 02:44:14 +0000 UTCThe fact that his entire bit in that movie is being the most fuckable old man in town is king shit.

2023-09-25 22:11:36 +0000 UTCSharpe was totally a bodice ripper. Richard Sharpe as the working class bit of rough would always end up with the generals daughter or Spanish princesses.

2023-09-25 22:10:49 +0000 UTCWatching Tomorrow Never Dies now. Michelle Yeoh is probably the hottest woman on the planet in 2023, and in 1997…. damn. I have David Simms levels of wanting to watch people kiss. On another note, my father and I went to see countless movies in the theater, but the only ones we dragged my mother into were Big Business, Titanic, and Tomorrow Never Dies.

Rad Rodge
2023-09-25 04:58:27 +0000 UTCIt oddly reminds of Rogue One in that way, especially since Andor my take on Rogue One is that the biggest mistake in the movie is going so John Williams with the music, you gotta go all in
Rad Rodge
2023-09-25 04:57:49 +0000 UTCI normally would not be too bummed about this but David was very wired in to how the Eric Serra score was so unpopular, and the tank chase stands out partly cause it was the time where central command was like, okay, we can’t do Eric Serra on this, we need to bring in a guy at the last second to give it a little John Barry juice! It’s a weird scene for music reasons

2023-09-25 03:56:48 +0000 UTCThey do need to do the Mamma Mias and they maybe need to watch Here We Go Again twice, there’s too many actors, they need more minutes to have space to talk about everybody in microbiological detail

2023-09-25 03:56:09 +0000 UTCThe Boyle series really solidified for me that I want David to just do a whole 90s British music podcast, I’m one of the subset of people who actually loves it when the fellas talk about music

2023-09-23 00:48:20 +0000 UTCYeah, I really think Craig is the only Bond with anything like a ripped build, it’s quietly the biggest difference about his look compared to other Bonds

2023-09-23 00:46:43 +0000 UTCFor Marie Bardi - Sharpe's rifles is absolutely a bodice ripper. Sean Bean is at peak hotness. He falls in love and lust multiple times and it is very romantic and great. Do recommend.

2023-09-22 13:45:32 +0000 UTCI’m excited to hear the annual Bond news! I’m curious how ON HER MAJESTY’S SECRET SERVICE will be handled, though. 2023-09-21 12:22:50 +0000 UTCactually looking it up and at least in the early ones connery is pretty willowy too, i think it's a mixture of they didn't see bond as a heavyweight and also modern level ripped-ness wasn't the norm until like the aughts

2023-09-21 07:55:35 +0000 UTChe and dalton have like exactly the same build, the only bond prior to craig to have a lot of muscle on them is connery i think

2023-09-21 07:53:41 +0000 UTCPierce is def handsome. And he’s quite trim in these movies. But does he look… strong enough? to be Bond? I know Craig brought the JB physique to a whole new level. But the other Bonds are sorta just… burlier, right?

2023-09-21 06:01:10 +0000 UTCAnyone want to tell Griffin about how during the preproduction of the cancelled third Dalton film that the producers contacted Disney about making animatronics? It was going to feature humanoid robots as henchmen. The podcast James Bonding did an episode five or six years ago about that “film” that was just re-released a couple of weeks ago and is worth a listen.
