Some context: Unique for a horror series, the Exorcist franchise has been helmed by some big-name dudes - obviously Billy Friedkin for the original, but also John Boorman and novelist William Peter Blatty himself. Paul Schrader shot a prequel to the Exorcist in the early 2000s, but the studio hated it, scrapped it, and made a new prequel directed by Renny Harlin. Schrader's was eventually released as DOMINION a year later. We'd cover both!

The context for Hellraiser is that Ben Hosley is literally a cenobite.
