I guess the downside of this is that there is not enough time to showcase his character to develop that depth that high production series have the luxury of. His motive was to be someone Daon would rely on and look up to, like a hero. That’s the “relationship that won’t end” that he’s referring to. Rather than dating him with the possibility of a break-up and bitterness. You have to really get into people’s heads to be able to tell what they really mean and what their motives are. It’s then you will be able to see why they are doing these things that they are doing. I hope you get what I mean.
