I know Japanese dramas can be raw and more 'realistic', so I am not really surprised this is deeper than the Thai version when it comes to how they showed Kai's past (though it's so hard to watch). I agree the actor who plays Kai is doing an amazing job and you can tell he really studied the source material. I agree that the pacing of their relationship is odd. In the Thai version you can really see and feel Sky's feelings towards Prapai changing while here it's kind of just skipped over and we're led to believe he suddenly likes Fuma. I also don't really feel any chemistry between them which is just a pity. Interesting that the kidnapping is happening this late. In the Thai version it felt a bit cringe (especially with that picture Payu received of Rain 😭), so I wonder how it's gonna go here. Also going back to what you said in a previous episode, I was also more obsessed with SkyPrapai in the Thai version, but in this version I am more obsessed with ArashiRei.
