Noone wanted to save Ming exept Joe (stupid). Joe put himself in this position, because he is too kind. If not for Joe, noone would save Tong. And Tong was on Ming's side this time only because it was in his powers to save him, cause dad wouldn't give money for Tong anymore. Homophobic father is the bad guy here

I don’t really think this was a redemption arc for him, because I never felt like any of the characters seem to fully believe him or forgive him, (nor does the story act like you should, so far at least,) so I’m like….idk like I never believed him? but let’s see how he is in the finale…I swear if he’s still with May. Lmao. She should’ve slapped him in this episode. Joe……….I hate him so bad sometimes because when Tong said that he didn’t want his child to be an orphan I KNEW he was gonna help him out anyway. He didn’t have his parents, and he’s just too nice. Be a bit more selfish! Please lol💔. He wouldn’t be Joe if he was more selfish but still! I got annoyed with the family (mostly mom) suddenly changing their minds when Tong used his unborn kid as leverage like. Hello? Who has the money here? Do you really want THIS guy to help raise a kid? But since they’re a conservative family along with that kinda instilled “family is family” mindset it’s to be expected. I still think it’s stupid but I wasn’t surprised they acted like that. I’m just glad May sided with Ming.

2024-07-05 23:01:08 +0000 UTCI wish Joe had better chance for revenge rather than just focusing in getting back with Ming and suffering all over again. Still even with flaws, this is one of the few decent series ongoing right now. Atleast it has some plot and interest points.

Joe woke up in someone else's body and is not seeking revenge and just going back to his old life being taken advantage of. You think he finally stands up for himself, but then digs his own grave anyway. What is exactly the conflict here now? Like.. Ming and Tong are awful people we already knew that, but Joe isn't doing anything about it so.. what's the plot here? Random loan sharsk showing up? idgi

Joe's grave is already at the other end of the earth at this point 😭 They can throw a hundred redemption arcs at me for Ming and Tong idc I don't forgive either of them lol. The loan sharks just giving up like that is so weird haha
