MY STAND-IN EP.2 REACTION

MY STAND-IN EP.2 REACTION

I do like Ming. He's clearly in some kind of emotional pain. And I assume, at some point, Joe is the one who will fix Ming and bring him true joy. The story would be a lot less interesting if Ming was perfect, happy and balanced. There wouldn't be a plot. We get to watch his transformation. At least I hope so.

Sandra Young

We're 3 years in the past. He's in his own body right now. They went 3 years into the past in episode one to show how Ming and Joe met and this is a continuation. Eventually we'll get to present day where Ming is confused as to why this random guy feels so familiar to him not knowing that Joe is in the body. I think we are meant to hate Ming in the beginning and then we'll grow to love him as he tries to win Joe back in present day. (I think. I hope. Haha)

Lindsay Wood

So far I ship Joe and Sol a lot more than Joe and Ming and I don't like Ming. Joe deserves better. Joe is also much more my type than Tong. I don't understand why everyone thinks Tong is so great.

JJ

Someone else already said this but we’re still in past 😂 rn we’re watching how they led up to the scene in the beginning of episode 1 where Joe is doing that motorcycle stunt and falls off the cliff You can tell it’s a flashback because Joe is clearly very well established at his workplace, ppl know him, he trains his other coworkers, he and the makeup artist act like old friends, he’s Tong’s body double, (his NEW body doesn’t look like Tong), he doesn’t live w this mom who prob wouldn’t leave her 3(?) year comatose son to live alone….and Ming seems like a rich kid w no job when in the present it’s said that he became a model very recently

Not a virgin, but he was never a bottom before

Cadi_88

Wasn’t Joe a virgin? I thought he said that last episode. That may be the reason he’s falling hard and fast. May have to rewatch the first episode.

I really like Joe and he is so Kind and he definitely deserves better than Ming. I really don’t like Ming, he is so mean to Joe and that’s not ok. Even in the preview for the next episode he is being mean to Joe and throwing himself onto him because he is jealous of Joe friendship with Sol. Ming is a hypocrite because he told Joe he can’t be around Sol, but he is over here liking Tong and hanging out with him. He also made Joe feel bad for suggesting that he has feelings for Tong. I really hope Ming gets better in the other episodes because right now I can’t stand him 🙄

Oh its still flashback now? Thats what confused me, wasnt sure about timeline here lol, but im not liking Ming at all right now, Joe is boyfriend material, dont use him like that 😭

Cadi_88

really like the series....yes...Joe is amazing but I can't hate to Ming cuz I can tell he had his own story untold yet. we need to wait and see,

Nathan Moon

If Ming is already like this now, knowing nothing about Joe and only having met him for two days, just imagine how he'll be when they're in a relationship yikes. Red flags everywhere. I hope he'll have growth cause.... I don't like him right now. Right Joe and Sol stuntman and Kpop idol? I see the flavour. Damn these episodes fly by. This is a flashback so it's still Joe himself here. So I wonder what happened with Ming and how Joe ended up like this. Joe is literally a green forest why is he going for a red sea 😭 It's always painful when you don't ship the mains. Second lead syndrome incoming forreal
