2023-03-13 15:58:02 +0000 UTCJapanese series are almost always from books. (Jack Frost is the only original I can think of right now.) Same thing for Chinese bromances. For both, I feel like if you read the book, you would have an enhanced experience, but the series stands alone. For Thai series, I always feel like they left off some explanation, so you are confused if you did not read the book. I just finished reading 609 Bedtime Story, and ish actually makes sense. I was soooo confused during the drama. The subtitles are hilarious. "Below the elbow." Bwahaha. The cake thing makes a little more sense now. Itt drugged Gear to get him with Night??? Oh snap. Yeah, this is going to be a hot, toxic, messy, poorly-done trainwreck, but I vote we keep watching. lol
