I liked the pacing, the story was nice but agree with you, underwhelmed. The cinematography is very good though, just for that scene where the main protagonist and the characters of the novel are together under the tree... that was a beautiful shot. But yes, the kisses are a bit too ''old fashion Korean-style''. Overall, I still like the series, there was a feeling of lost opportunity, missed love, nostalgia that I really like.
